Betta Day

 Betta tools! While at Petco yesterday I met a very informative fellow betta hoarder (she has 7)! I picked up:

• Water conditioner: they will do fine in tap water, put the accumulative effect of chlorine and ammonia can cause liver failure
• Betta food: pellets with better nutrition and color enhancers. Apparently their fins are going to grow and grow! Crown tails even get curly!
• Betta Fix: for sick fishies (too bad we did not have this for Murhder last week). Helps with fin rot, damage, lethargy, etc. It is a fish tonic!

While I was there I could not leave this Elephant Ear behind! He is a beautiful periwinkle color, with cheetah spots! So far he is shy, I shall call him dumbo!
